East Riding Sacks Hosts Successful Annual Macmillan Bake Sale, Raising Funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

East Riding Sacks proudly presented its annual Macmillan Bake Sale on Thursday, 26th September, with the aim of raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity that holds a special place in the hearts of all involved.

Organised by our dedicated receptionist, Jill, the event brought together the staff at East Riding Sacks in a fun-filled day for a great cause. This year’s event featured an exciting range of activities, including:

A bigger & better raffle with fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses
A lively food & picture round quiz
A selection of delicious cakes and buns for sale
A fun guess how many cups competition

Our amazing staff, along with their families and friends, worked hard to create a delicious array of homemade baked, which showcased their culinary talents. Local businesses also stepped up to contribute wonderful raffle prizes, including:

Meal vouchers from Railway Street Fisheries and The Black Bull Pub
A beautiful fruit & vegetable basket from Browns Fruit & Veg
A hearty Navis Breakfast voucher from Navis
A voucher from Sams Van

Plus many more fantastic contributions from our local community!

Together we raised £650 for Macmillan Cancer Support, thank you to all those involved in making this event a success and helping us raise money to support individuals and families affected by cancer. We look forward to making next year’s bake sale even bigger and better!
